Getting fiber at home is always nice and opens a world of possibilities. You know what else does ? A static IP ! If you’re not lucky enough to get one of these via your ISP, Dynamic DNS is the way to go. I made this small script to uses your WAN ip in order to update your CNAME record in Amazon Route53. Configure, Chmod +x, Crontab it and you’re good to go.
